On June 20, Pham Duy (President) and Dang Duc Anh from Inside the Art Club successfully held the art exhibition called The Palette, at I’m in Vietnam 252B Au Co, Nhat Tan, Tay Ho. The Palette is the exhibition that contains paintings, pictures and installation art, expressing the world view of color-blind people.
Although the event just takes place in a very short time (one day), what two members, Pham Duy, and Dang Duc Anh, bring to the exhibition has left attendees with a strong impression.
Utilizing the space of I’m in Vietnam to the full, the exhibition helps the audience experience the world outlook as well as the perspective of the color-blind. The first floor is separated into four rooms with four different atmospheres, providing unique experiences for attendees. If the audience can listen to a case of visual impairment and use of Braille tables on the second floor, then on the third floor, Pham Duy and Duc Anh will bring the experience of painting only with the colored thread under their guidance. In the afternoon of the exhibition, both of them participate in drawing bodypainting at garden 3 (1st floor).
During the exhibition, the attendees have chance to experience, then better understand the world view of color-blind people by means of photos, pictures, and art which Pham Duy and Duc Anh meticulously prepare for.
Through this exhibition, Pham Duy and Duc Anh in particular and the club in general with excellent artistic ability have brought a very meaningful activity to the community.
